For the love of Paris...

My daughter loves Paris. In fact, a visit to Paris has one of the coveted top spots on her Bucket List. And dreaming ahead, she's already planning a Parisian wedding. The source of her affection isn't really because she wants to visit all of France. No, just one amazing structure known globally...the Eiffel Tower. She's spent hours researching it, drawing it and recently painting it.

Here's a peak at the finished project:

So, what's on your Bucket List?

  1. Oh, I've been to Paris and she is right to dream. One of my top two favorite cities, along with Rome...My number one dream is to go to Rwanda in Africa to see the mountain gorillas, but it's kind of a scary place to be...
I'm giving you a blog award - stop by and pick it up!

  2. Ohhhh, Kim,
Thank you! I'll be right over to pick up the award! My daughter is so envious that you've been to Paris, but of course the thing she wants to know is....did you go to the Eiffel Tower and scream from the top???? She's so cute. Today she began teaching herself French in preparation for her eventual trip!:) Thanks again.:)

  3. Love the painting - looks great. Maybe one day I will get to Paris - its just one of those places (kind of like London) which is full of great buildings and culture - but so insanely busy and over priced!

So anyway, on my bucket list we has a trip to somewhere inside of the arctic circle and a NEED to see the northern lights (from anywhere, not fussy). Other than that, well I'm not sure...those are my main 2 and the ones I've had for years.

  4. We are currently reading The Family Under the Bridge which takes place in Paris. Learning alot about the city and it's most popular spots as well as the country of France. She did a great job on the painting.

  5. Louise, I'd love to see the Northern Lights too! That would be so incredible!:)

Diane, I'd forgotten about The Family Under the Bridge! We read that book when the kids were pretty little as a read aloud. I'm sure they've all forgotten it, I'll mention it to Chelsea, I'm sure she'd enjoy it. Thank you!:)
