This weekend I’ll be heading to Ohio with tw0 of my children for my sister-in-laws baby shower. It’s going to be a short, quick trip but in addition to visiting all the family and friends I can possibly squeeze in, I’m going to do a bit of sightseeing.
Since the kids and I tend to get a bit tired during our 10 hour drive, we’ve decided to shake things up a bit and try something new. This road trip I’m going to do something I’ve never done before. I’m going to tweet and blog about our adventures from the road and I’m going to take one reader along with me. Sound like fun? I will select one reader to join me on my Ohio adventure. Well, maybe not physically anyway. The reader I select will send me a picture via email, I will print it out, turn you into a flat traveler, and away we’ll go.
If traveling vicariously doesn’t sound like fun to you, perhaps you’d like to know that there are a few more perks. I’m also giving the lucky traveler a small activity bag that you can share with your own children on your next road trip, a few souvenirs from the road, and a one-of-a-kind pressed penny jewelry piece that’s inspired by the trip. Now are you interested?
Wanna join me? This is how you can get your chance. Leave a comment and tell me why you would want to tag along and why I should choose you to accompany my children and I through Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio and back again on a nearly 500 mile road trip in one weekend.
I’ll select one reader tomorrow (Tuesday) so act quickly if you don’t want to miss out.
