Be sure that you always keep a stash of quarters and shiny pennies on you when you’re traveling. Not only will they come in handy for toll charges and parking meters, but they’re great for the smashed (elongated) penny machines that can be found at many attractions. The smashed pennies are a really inexpensive souvenir and they are so fun to collect!
My son loves collecting smashed pennies! He gets one from every place we visit that has a machine. What an expensive way to keep memories, not to mention they don't take up a lot of space.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that it's not my children, but myself that is hopelessly addicted to the smashed pennies! I have to hunt down the machines everywhere and get one of every style. I'm so bad! :)
