Do you have questions about visiting on the Homeschool Day? You’ll probably find the answer on this FAQ Page. If  you’re unable to find what you’re looking for, you can contact Bray McDonald at brm@tnaqua.org or call (423) 785-4093.

The Tennessee Aquarium has also put together a wonderful page of educational resources to use prior to your visit and while visiting the aquarium for all ages. Don’t forget to download my free field trip notebooking pages e-book to document your trip.

You can read about our first visit to the Tennessee Aquarium at Field Trip Friday: Tennessee Aquarium.

Stop back later in the week when I’ll be sharing other Chattanooga attractions that my family has enjoyed!

  1. Thanks for posting this. I will keep this in mind once we get there next year. (I am sure they do it every year.) The prices to these type places can get really expensive for a family of seven!

  2. Yes, this is typically offered every year- in the spring and fall so I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to visit. You may also want to check out their membership packages. My family of five came out ahead by purchasing the annual pass instead of paying individual admission prices. Once those kiddos are over 12 and you begin to pay adult prices it gets tough on the wallet to visit nearly any attraction. The TN Aquarium is pretty neat though. We really enjoyed it.

  3. We have been here a time or two and loved it. We have a lot of fun at the Aquarium but, we also like to walk up the street infront of it to a BBQ place called sticky fingers. the food there is awsome and just befor you get to the BBQ there is a little used book store (the store is little but it is packed to the gills) I have found alot of Abeka books for my boys there in the past. and if you walk around behind the Aquarium there is some art work on the street. The river front area is neet to go see too. we seen the Columbus ships on tour there a while back. If anyone has extra time in the area the Chickamaga battle field it a very educational place to go too. Lots of cannons and and war relics. There were a lot of deer roaming around too.
